People say: "yeah, but me, Maxence, I don't want to show my face on the internet to make a living from the web, e-commerce is not something that suits me", or "I'm not into it anymore". And so I said to myself: Google Maps could be a good alternative for you if infopreneurship or e-commerce is not something that suits you. So I took some notes on my MacBook Pro, in order to help you as much as possible and not forget anything. So here are the different steps to make money with Google Maps.

Identifying physical businesses on Google Maps

Step number 1: you're going to identify the local physical businesses in your area in general, it's going to be much easier, but here it is, identifying the local physical businesses. So it's going to be veterinarians, mechanics, pizzerias, pharmacies, hairdressers... so all the professions, the self-employed that we can see in the real business, so nothing to do with the internet business. And how do you do this? You have a "own this business" field. So you are going to connect to Google Maps. I'll give you an example to illustrate what I mean. Personally, I grew up in a small village near Chalon-sur-Saône, in Saône-et-Loire. So if we take the example of Chalon-sur-Saône, department 71, you will click on "own this business". You will concentrate on everything that is pizzerias, dentists, veterinarians, mechanics, hairdressers, etc., etc.

And then, in the second step, you will contact the person if they are not listed on Google Maps. So you have actually... so generally on the app, you have a few people who have done the work, and there are other people there's just their phone number. And you just have their first and last name, and that's it. And you, your role - and this is what you are going to propose as a service - is going to be to sell for €100, €150, €200 the possibility of being referenced, and above all to have all the different information. In your opinion, what is the probability that the person will go to this dentist, this mechanic, this pharmacist, and so on, if he is not listed on Google Maps? Or if it just has his first name, phone number and name? You have to put all the information, the exact address, put the exact opening hours, so all the nice information that you can see when people are well listed.

Then, once that's done, you're going to add all the information through Google My Business. So, to convince someone, you can certainly imagine that hairdressers, dentists, pharmacists have other things to do. They have understood that they should be present on the internet, but as they don't have the time to do it, they don't have the skills to do it, you will be able to bill them. And above all, show examples of people who have already done great things; or that you have done for them, so that will establish your credibility. And above all, it will help finalise the sale. In any case, the sale of this service will not take you long, and the person in question will be happy to be listed on this platform.

3 steps to make money from added business on Google Maps
